The Centre for Social Investigation is involved in and developing collaborative projects with several partners.
One of these is the GEMM project (Growth, Equal Opportunities, Migration and Markets). CSI will carry out the British field experiments on ethnic discrimination in the labour market, which will be harmonized with parallel experiments in Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and Spain. Besides measuring the extent of discrimination, a major objective of the GEMM project is to theorize and measure the individual and contextual conditions that could affect ethnic discrimination.
